| When I created a new audio track set to mono and dragged the components of the recorded parts there, it plays. Apparently, it's just the Audio track stereo not playing at all. Any ideas on how to deal with this? I've been stuck with this for the past 3 hours. Thanks for any help. |

| So were the recorded tracks actually stereo tracks or they were recorded in mono on a stereo track.. (guitar and bass at typically mono) Could be a panning issue?

Itacman - hello! it's not muted, it's not dimmed, the volume is up, no inserts. Other audio tracks work such as a) imported from an mp3/wav file b) audio track (mono) Dragging the clip to another audio track doesn't work provided that it is on stereo. If dragged on a mono audio track I can hear the recorded sound of the guitar and bass. Audio-Geek -No sir it is not on monitor. Electriclight - Both guitar and bass have been recorded around 4 days before and playback was doing well and it was on stereo. Just one day it decided not to be heard ![]() Also, I have found out that when I go to Device setup> VST audio system > and set ASIO driver to ASIO DirectX Full Duplex Driver , I can hear the the recorded audio track (stereo) sound coming out but i guess using the sound card. However, when it is set to US-122L /US-144 , the recorded audio track from the guitar and bass (stereo) has still no sound but the midi instruments can be heard. I hope that will narrow down things. edit: also tried reinstalling cubase. No luck. Thanks. Last edited by prankoyz; 04-03-2009 at 02:58 PM. |
