 Alesis multimix 12 and cubase with mac os x 10.5
i just got the alesis multimix 12 firewire mixer and i want to my mac to recognize the multimix software but everytime i go to my system prefrences and click on the multimix settings it says "You cannot open MultiMix Settings preferences because it doesn't work on an Intel-based Mac." so my cubase isnt recognizing multimix as the asio driver, ... its a brand new mac and a brand new mixer. Does anybody know why this is happening?

Have you downloaded the latest drivers from the Alesis site ?

yes i have tried that.. it weird because my garageband recognizes the mixer no probem yet the cubase software that came with the mixer doesnt ..i dont get it
