You can make them scream, especially when you don't want them to, lol. I doubt that this bass will ever see the stage, however I did play a hollow body Vox for over 15 years and you just had to find the "sweet spots" and stay out of them on stage. I imagine the Hofner is the same.

| I had a client use the epiphone on my open stage and it was fine for feedback. In fact I was really impressed. It was a student for the year end concert for my teaching business so he needed to be loud, front and center. Not even a hint of feedback. With my vintage Hofner I sometime times crank it to the gunnels for recording. No worries at all.
