garageband will become famous soon enough

Have you tried the Hofner out at stage levels to see if it feeds back? I always wondered. The once I played one, it seemed really "thumpy" like it might be really sensitive to feedback and other handling noise.

You can make them scream, especially when you don't want them to, lol. I doubt that this bass will ever see the stage, however I did play a hollow body Vox for over 15 years and you just had to find the "sweet spots" and stay out of them on stage. I imagine the Hofner is the same.

I had a client use the epiphone on my open stage and it was fine for feedback. In fact I was really impressed. It was a student for the year end concert for my teaching business so he needed to be loud, front and center. Not even a hint of feedback. With my vintage Hofner I sometime times crank it to the gunnels for recording. No worries at all.
