Default Just Recorded A Spector Bass

This weekend I recorded my first Spector bass. It was one of their cheaper models ($800) but I must say that I really liked this bass! This bass player was quite good and used his fingers.

Generally, I prefer the sound of the picked bass sound, but most of that was due to the fact that I could never get the magical finger bass sound. Well, this bass / player had it. It's a tone I've been searching for for a long time. It's a real bass players bass tone, if that makes any sense.

Anyway, I just wanted to report the positive experience with the Spector bass. If I was going to be recording non rock music bass, I think the Spector would be my first choice. Of course, I'd require a Pbass or a Jazz bass just for variety.

Yeah.

Spector Basses are very good. I've used a Spector Legend 4 the majority of my time playing bass, got it on deal for $699.99. I love the sound of it.

I just purchased a Spector Legend 5 and I love it. I can't wait to get the high end USA Custom model with neck-thru design one day. The tone is incredible and sustaining. For $4000 it should be.
