I went shopping for a bass a couple of years ago, with a budget of around 1200-1300 bucks. I spent 600 on a cort g series bass.
It's such a versatile bass, You can get a HUGE range of sounds out of it. (Including way too deep!!!) I would post soundclips, but the strings on it are completely dead, and won't do it any justice. For the budget wary, with a sound that rivals it's higher priced counterparts, I believe. |

Like I told U I recorded for a lot of years--the bass I use and still have is a 1963 Fender P-bass that I bought new. The only thing that is changed is it has Gibson pots. That is the only bass the engineers would let me use, so it has something right. Since I just started the home recording I'll let you know what it is when I find out.
