Why Kontakt In Modern Era?
I find that most of my sample libraries come with their own player. While I do own one sample library that needs a 3rd party sampler (I use Kontakt 2), the only other time I reach for Kontakt 2 is to use the built in sounds for Kontakt 2.
I own Quantum XP Hardcore Bass. It has it's own player. The same can be said about Superior Drummer 2.0. I've had string samples on my wish list for a while, but I'll be purchasing a string package with it's built in sampler as well.
I'm aware that Kontakt does give more processing options and audio manipulation options than Kompakt does like EQ, reverb, chorus etc. However, is there any other reason to load up my string samples or bass samples in Kontakt? Am I missing something?
