Default What Loop Software Do You Use And Why?

We've got stickies for people to tell why they use X studio monitor, audio interface, recording software, guitar emulators, and drum samples, but I don't have a sticking for loop software. No we do!

So...

What loop software do you use and why?

ReCycle and Reason seem to be a pretty flawless combination to me. I just started using them, but ReCycle is incredibly user friendly and helps to create very precise loops from loaded audio, which can be used seamlessly with the Dr. Rex plug-in in Reason.

Does anyone know of a free alternative to ReCycle? I love it, but I can't afford to buy it when I go home for the summer... right now I'm just using my school's software.

You cant beat Acid Pro's ease of use when it comes to looping software, in my opinion.

I find Acid is brilliant for adjusting loops. It's also useful for musical loops and you can retune the key of different musical parts to bring them all into the same key.

Reaper (REAPER | Audio Production Without Limits)

Great Audio Production software! You can download the fully functional version for a trial. If you like it, you are out $60 for a official license key. In my opinion, does all ProTools does and more without breaking the bank.
