Default Several vioces in one time

Hello

I have a big noob problem.
I have Yamaha CS6X connected to PC with CME USB-MIDI cable and Cubase SX3.

In project I have two MIDI tracks. On each track different voice is set.
Track 1 is on 1 channel, track 2 - 2 channel.
In synth receive is set to "omini" (all channels).

But my synth playes both tracks with one voice (this one which is set last).

WHY?

Thanks in advance

Your synth should not be set to omni.

So how can I receive data from more than 1 channel?

Set up the "tracks" to receive on MIDI channels 1-16 instead of omni. You'll presumably need to set each up with its own patch, whether through a program change message in your sequencer, or on the synth itself, otherwise even though everythign will be on its own channel, it'll playback with the default voice which will probably be the same on every channel.
