This is something I'll be handling shortly. First, I would make sure you are actually getting MIDI into your computer. Cubase has a meter in the transport that will flash up every time MIDI comes in. If you are getting MIDI in, you are in business. If not, you need to make sure you have the right MIDI input selected in your recording software. Thanks, Brandon - I'm having the same problem - and have read through your support material, but am still running into issues. I've got an m-audio uno (a 1-1 midi device) and am trying to connect a set of v-drums (Roland td-6) with a Plus Orchestral keyboard into Logic Express, so that I can record both at the same time. I'm not sure how to assign the midi channel on the keyboard, but seem to be able to do so on the v-drums - but it seems like no matter what channel I choose, the Uno just picks up on the signal from the closest instrument to the computer in the daisy chain. Any ideas? Thanks very much! |
