Default Retrieve Old Performer Files

I have an old Mac that I did a lot of MIDI work on with MOTU's Performer v3.x, but the Mac has no proper Internet ability. It has a modem, but no software to match today's high speed connections or IP requirements...only terminal connections. None of my Service providers allow thies types of connections for file transfer...like the old BBS days. I started the Mac and Performer and saved all my desired files to standard MIDI files. I want to transfer those files to the PC platform. The Mac has a DoubleDensity floppy drive... no use in the PC world... and it cannot write PC formatted floppies at all. I decided to transfer the MIDI data via MIDI interface. When I connect the MIDI OUT from the Mac to the MIDI IN on the PC, the PC's MIDI IN light pulses very periodically. Is there a compatibility standard I don't know about? I have gone into Performer and adjusted the frequency of the signal to all settings and the only one that DOES NOT give me the droning pulse on the PC's MIDI IN is the the 2Mhz Fast setting, but the data still does not transfer and I only get a few pulses troughout an entire track. Anybody have any suggestions about how to solve this issue? The Mac has no USB, only SCSI drives and DD floppy...suggestions welcome.

Thank you,
Darren
