Default problem with VSTi outputs

Hi, i have just got some free VST's for my Cubase LE4, but it says that channel is silent for the VST MIDI track because it expected it to be 'output 1:Stereo' but it is in fact 'Output 1:Mono' and 'Output 2: mono'

sorry if it doesnt make any sense but thanks to anyone who does answer!

So you're saying i just have to delete these VSTi's and just get others?
If that is the case then fine, they were free anyway.
I just haven't recorded anything in AAAAGGEESS and have started to do it in school a bit more so was trying out some free VSTi's to get the hang of it again.

That' right. Of the dozens of free synths I've downloaded maybe 6 have given me that message. There's probably an easy answer, I just dont' know. I'm moving this to the MIDI forum. Maybe that will help.
