Please! Ezdrummer & Live 7.0.14 Please Help

hi so i recently borrowed a copy of bfd from my dad who is also a drummer but he runs a PC and i run a Macbook.

i have two questions.
first: i have my macbook (2.4ghz 2gb ram) boot camped with windows vista, i installed the ableton live 8 demo, and installed ez drummer, it installed fine but when i try to use it, the latency is unbearable, i would like to be able to use it live, i even tried ASIO4ALL with no success, does anybody know how to slove this problem?

ok this is the question i REALLY want solved:

i installed my ableton 7.0.14 for mac (10.5.7) and then installed ez drummer AND the bundled update, but when i open ableton, ezdrummer doesnt show up in my list of vst's (yes i've activated the vst folder) im completely out of idea's and im getting desperate thank you in advance for your help.

oh sorry my edrums are the yamaha dd-65 which work great with no latency for any other program than my windows based ableton+ezdrummer

Ezdrummer is not showing up in your vst or au plug in folders in Ableton? What version of ezdrummer?

its a vst and its not showing up in the vst list its version 1.X something im not toally i cant launch it so i can check to see

EZdrummer is both vst and au on a mac. Go to Ableton's preferences and hit the rescan button for your plug-in's. See if that works.

i've tried i've even tried to re-direct ez drummer into a custom vst foler but it will not show up, like i have guitar rig and izotope but no ezdrummer on that list

Look in HD/library/audio/plug ins/vst and make sure it is in that folder. and while you're there, look to see what version it is.

hmmm its not showing up in my hd but i know it there because when i browse for it in ableton it shows up but isn't available

If you can't see it something is wrong. Reinstall or find it on your drive and put it in the right place.

i made hidden files visible now i can see the vst its in the right place but all it says ezdrummer.vst
