thanks, it now says i have 53 running when in cubase, but aren't most of these vital to the computer running? Maybe i should look up which ones to close!

I have been Using Nuendo3 for past three years ...recently i have installed Nuendo4 the trouble is that, that it is not playing or recording Audio thou the courser moves...i have checked my Asio setup it is ok in device manager when i re initialize the the sound card, the sound comes and every thing becomes cool...but this i have to do every time when i launch Nuendo4. My working platform is Intel core 2duo with 2 gb of ram and MAya44 MKII sound card... |

What is your free space on the drive ? It may be burdened with extra thrashing around if you don't have large areas of defraged space.

navneetkedar !! shit happens with upgrades. try to determine if the card works system wide and maybe see if there are new drivers. If it works fine, then you need to get into the software side of sleuthing.
