Default MIDI drums in Cubase

Alright, well im gettin there...slowly

1st- is there a way to randomize velocity in Cubase? Browsed thru the manual but didn't see anything

2nd-how do you copy and paste hits in the Drum Editor? So I have all the snares programmed out on key E1 for GM, but I want to put it on Addictive Drums which has its snare on D1

1. There's a preset in Logical Presets - standard set 1 that randomizes velocities between 60 and 100. If you open up the actual Logical Editor, you can call up this preset, and it will be obvious where you change the values of 60 and 100 to whatever suits what you're doing.

If its for drum hits, I would first check whether your drum sampler has a roundrobin feature that will automatically randomize hits for you.

2. You can do this several ways.

- You could use the logical editor again and change all notes with a value of E1 to D1.

- you could open your part in a regular editor (not the drum editor) and select an E1 note, then from the menubar choose Edit > Select > Equal Pitch Same Octave , then manually drag down to D1, or use your down arrow key to do the same (you can actually do this in the drum editor too, but if you move using the arrow key to a note that doesn't exist in the drum map, your notes disappear).
