Default MIDI Bass Booms?

Some rap songs have got that bass that seems to resonate. Something that is really going to hit the subs. I'm not too familiar with MIDI but I don't use it that much.

My question is what can I do to get that bass boom?

Could it be a sample you just have to download or is there a way I can make it?
I don't have a sample pad or keyboard I just use the MIDI that my sound card provides.
The reason I'm asking is because I'm recording a metal band that wants a bass boom when they go into this certain breakdown for more umph.

For sure check out any A Day To Remember song on the album "For Those Who Have Heart"
Their record distorts a lot though.
I'm not looking for that much.
Also in the song "A Fist Fight With Dick Tracey" - Emmure
There is a boom at the very end of the song. Then during the applause they throw in another one.
I'm not sure of any rap songs.

Okay, so do you have these records? Could you post an MP3 of just the bass boom? I've listened to samples on Amazon, but none of them seem to have the bass boom in them, and I'm sure as hell not buying these tracks!

This huge bass boom is also popular in rock music these days as well. Chevelle and The Used have both incorporated this into their music.

I'm sure there are samples of it out there if you looked.

You could do it with a synth, but it would take some playing around. The Sine wave is a start, but it won't have have the transient intensity you are looking for. Of course, playing with ASDR and all that other synth stuff can surely do it. Maybe you could layer the sound of a kick drum and a sine wave together?

I tried 4 times to upload one of the songs.
You can check them out on youtube, projectplaylist, or purevolume.
There is pretty much a bass boom in every song right before a breakdown.
Sorry

Try An 808 Kick Drum...eq it however you must. attack/decay, whatever. that should give you some boom. I layer an 808 very low behind alot of my kicks.
