Question Looking For Strings Ensemble VST...

I'm looking for a VST that lets me make authentic sounding string ensembles. I don't want synth strings, because those don't sound as amazing. I want standard orchestral strings. Do any of you guys know of a VST that has a orchestral strings ensemble on it?

Yeah, there are couple. Out there. The one that I've been most impressed by is this one. You can hear it in action here.

I use EWQL GoldXP for ensemble strings and Kirk Hunter Emerald for solo strings. Here's an example of one of my pieces that uses both.

Kontakt isn't cheap, but works as a VST ( or standalone) and the strings work well for my stuff. YMMV

Is EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold compatible with Ableton Live? Does it work just like any other VST plug-in?

IT comes with a sample player VSTi. It's not as good as using Kontakt, but its usable.

EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold comes with Native Instruments Kompakt so it can run as a VST.
