Default Looking for good Mellotron, Hammond, & Leslie 64 bit VST

I had a couple of freeware VSTs, one for Mellotron (tapeworm) and One each for Hammond and Leslie sounds, but the tapeworm VST locks up Sonar every time I try to use it and I cannot seem to locate the disk with the Hammond VST ( which I know is also 32 bit ).

Can anyone recommend either free or reasonably priced for pay 64 bit VSTs to fit the bill?

Thanks,
Harry

Mellotron : Free VSTi's : FreeMusicSoftware.org

Great site with lots of free VSTis, hopefully you'll find something that works out for you.

You could look into jbridge that allows you to use 32 bit plugins in a 64 bit environment.

In that case, look for Organized Trio for your Hammond Emulation. Not quite up to NI's B4, but pretty darned good for the price.

Thanks all, I found the Leslie sound I was looking for, it was the Nubi Spinner LE plug in works flawlessly! ( Still have to figure out how to map my controller to it ). I have a couple of different Hammond VSTs I am playing with, the NuBi LE and the Organized Trio. I am sure one of them will end up being just fine.

The Mellotron is another issue. I did find one that works, but it is only three octaves and only has four "tapes". I need to get more range and would prefer a couple of the other tapes. I may have to save up for one of the "store bought" VSTs to get what I want there.

Thanks for the help,
Harry

I only have a older MelloSoftTron, and I really haven't used it much. I do use Stringer which is more about synthetic strings and has some emulations.

I'm just seeing this on the web;
MySpace.com Blogs - Plankspanker MySpace Blog
"I haven't tried the Mellosofttron, but having one Mellotron emulator is enough. The thing that's great about the M-Tron is the incredible number of banks of sounds-real honest to goodness Mellotron samples! I love Mellotrons because they just cut through everything. I think it's that little bit of noise and dodgy tuning that makes them stand out. Besides all that, the sound just brings back memories of my wasted (and I do mean wasted!) youth.

Thanks for the comment! I hope to hear back from you!

Robert"
