I wish I could be of more help here, I'm not exactly an expert on this sort of thing. The second one is heavily processed and could probably be found on quite a few synths if you looked around or got decent and making your own sounds on the synth.
The first one is more a conventional electric piano sound but almost with a slight organ vibe to it. If it were me, I'd at least check out Native Instruments Elektrik Piano which you can listen to samples of here or buy here.

This kind of sound was very popular in the 80's because I think it originated in the DX7.
Here's a freeware VSTi that produces this kind of sound - yohng.com' :: 4Front E-Piano Module I personally would go with a more sophisticated sound these days - the Rhodes that the DX7 was supposed to be emulating, had a much richer sound and Mr Ray does a really good job on that one - SoundFonts.it but it is a very different sound... if you like the DX7 EP of the 80's, I think my first link will give you what you're looking for. |

They're pretty similar. The Usher one is perhaps a little closer to a Rhodes sound. (like the Soundfonts.it link), whereas the Vanessa Williams one is more defined - like the DX7 sound. But honestly, the Usher one could be an eq'ed version of the DX7 sound too.

Is the Electric Piano Sound on the Vanessa Williams song the one that you'd find on the Forefront E Piano Program? Did you say that one is a DX7? Or was that on the Usher song?

and unfortunately it says that this software is only available in a MAC version. Since my Home Studio Computer is a PC, is there a version of 4Front E-Piano Module that is compatible with PC's? Will it work with Sonar 6 Studio Edition and JAWS (Job Access With Speech) 6.0 screen reader?
