Default Lo-Fi (22050hz) Guitar Samples

Here are a bunch of single-note guitar samples:

The Dry folder in the main file contains the original samples, some of which are duplicates. They are all 'c' notes, from so-called, 'C1' to 'C5.' The 'C1' and 'C2' files are probably the 'wobbliest. The guitar is tuned down 4 semitones, from E to C, so - due to the peculiarities of the guitar tuning - these 2 notes ('C1' and 'C2') in particular are played on very loose-fitting strings. The first series of 5 c-notes is played without 'pinch harmonics' or 'other harmonics of any type.' It's just a series of 'totally dry' recordings. The 2nd, 'harmonic' series is played with either regular harmonics ('C1'), or 'pinch' harmonics (all but 'C1').

The first 2, 'treated' series of samples are based off of the completely dry recordings (the 'distort' series), or off of the harmonic recordings (the 'harmonic' series).

The 3rd grouping of treated samples is, 'Multi.' This 3rd series is a combination of all 10 of the 'regular' and 'harmonic' samples, all 10 of them played simultaneously through a pitch shifter, semitone by semitone from -48, to +48.

All of the treated series were made with the "C15 Heavy Metal head" from Preampus (ACMEBarGig), with the "LePou cabinet simulator." The Pitch shifter was the "RS Pitch Shifter."

The treated samples are all rendered to 22050hz. The 'dry' ones are left at 44100. By all means, feel free to do whatever you would like to, with these samples. The treated ones were made with sort of, 'chiptune' and 'lo-fi' musical genres in mind. The 'dry' ones were included as basic building blocks,
should someone want to take this idea in a different direction, other than what is included here.

These files are included as-is. I have not yet gone through and checked each note to make sure that it is 'correct.' The ones based off of 'C1' in particular have a noticable detuning effect built in.

The entire collection (40+ megs)

Distortion Series (10+ megs)

Harmonic Series (10+ megs)

'All 10' original samples pumped through at once, notes -48 to +48 (10+ mb)

The Dry recordings (~2mb)

A quick (really quick) test .mp3
