 I have Quantizing trouble on my Motif 6, help?
I cant convert the numbers to note value anyone able to help me out?

Could you be more specific? Are you using the sequencer in the keyboard or on the computer? Like this? Summary of MIDI Note Numbers I never see those in using a keyboard and a sequencer and it wouldn't have anything to do with quantizing...

Kinda confusing ? You can't quantize 128th notes, or what ?

well on the keyboard, in the sequencer mode there is a place for quantizing and it doesnt quantize by note value its quantizing values are stated numerically

OK, I think that would be ticks. That manual is a mess but the answer is in there. I'm getting this confused with cubase because I don't use the sequencer in the mo. I go here for a mo specific question. motifator.com - forum

When you press [record] in either song or pattern mode midway down the screen on the right hand side you will see the quantize box, tab down to it using the lower button, it may say 'off' or a value between 60 and 480, at the left of this value is the note in icon form which that number represents. 480 is a 1/4 note and 60 is a 1/32 note Adjust this value with the data wheel to your requirements Hope this answers your question Spike
