I have downloaded and installed the Drumagog demo but i dont unersatand how to take the sound and record it as a drumagog file.
I have set the R and L markers and tried to copy and paste to the sample section of Drumagog but that does not work, will it work if i export that section of the audio track as an OMF file then browse in drumagog and inport that way.

How I do it is this. I copy the track that I want to take a sample of. I then trim everything around the hit that I want. I then normalize the hit. Next I open drumagog on this track. Select which ever file you are going to store in. Then I go into the sample section select new file. Select record from track. It will say that it is listening. Then press play in cubase viola.

Samples can be difficult. But if you can edit bank files, you just assign them (your sample) to GM instrument numbers.
Having a look at edit bank files but i still dont under stand what you mean by "SAMPLE" is it just an OMF file?
The drumagog folks were very helpful when I called them I would recommend giving them a buzz.
