Guitar to Keyboard VST?

Hello

I am looking for some plug ins that would convert my guitar input to keyboard effects.

My "Guitar Rig" has a few, btu absolutely not enough. And I cannot afford a good midi controller, and cannot play the expressions I can on the guitar with it.

So, if you know any, please do tell me, I'm sick of using the same effect in 2 following releases, its embarassing

What you really need is a MIDI pickup for your guitar.

That's going to run you a handful of bones, audio recording ain't cheap. If someone told me 5 years ago I'd be spending a grand (or more) on a mic, I'd flip.

It's not a perfect solution, but if you're looking for a cheap way to get there, theres a number of audio to midi converters out there as VST plugins. You record a line in regular audio played on guitar, then convert that to midi notes, which you can then apply to your keys in a sequencer. Just google audio midi converter vst and you should get some results.
