Default Cubase sx3 midi playback timing

I use cubase sx3 and an Ederol pc50 as a midi controller. When I record midi, everything gets shifted foreward in time y about an 8th note. It is easy to fix, but I would like to know how to have the midi record in time. It is strange; basically the exact opposite of audio latency.

Default Re: Cubase sx3 midi playback timing

I've encountered this before, but I can't remember what the hell I did to fix it. I've head a handful of other people mention the problem but no one ever reported back here with the solution.

I remember almost all of my initial problems with Cubase SX3 were solved by downloaded the latest version from Steinberg.

With this one, I want to say that disabling MIDI through had an effect, but I have absolutely reason why I say that. It's just a hunch.
