Hey guys, I'm new to Cubase SX3 and home recording. I bought a Line 6 Kb37 cause I wanted to be able to record my guitar through it and also some midi. I've manage to do both things perfectly. Got my voice recorded and also my guitar, also the midi, but when I try to export the file as an audio (cause I want to be able to burn it on a cd or ipod and that sort of things) the midi can't be heard. Now, I know midi is not actual audio but just data or information and that's why it won't work if I try to export it as an audio file, but I've heard it's possible to convert the midi track to an audio track somehow and I'd like to know how to achieve that. I've tried to figure it out on my own but haven't been able to make it work. On my Midi Track input I got the Line 6 Kb37 and the output is the ms gs wavetable so I can hear the midi play through my regular speakers. On the audio track all I'm able to select is "ASIO Multimedia driver Stereo in" and for the output the same but "Stereo out". I think I'm missing something about the input/output settings, and also.. the KB37 does not use it's own midi effects, I'm using the vsti and controlling it through the KB37 (I'm not sure if that information matters or helps somehow, just in case though). Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. If you need any more information to be able to help me out go ahead and ask!

You said your using GS wavetable and your using 'the vsti'. Not understanding that. GS wavetable is what window provides as a sound module and has some problems being used in cubase about getting its signal back in for a mixdown. A 'real' VSTi which you select with F11 will mixdown properly. If your card has a loopback function (sound blaster calls this 'whatUhear') you can solo the track and record the audio manually. If you don't have a loopback you can take a cord and run it from line out to line in. Just make sure your not monitoring anything or you get a mean feedback. Then record the audio your GS puts out. Once you have it as an audio track it will mixdown properly.
