Default Confused about dfh use with my padkontrol

Hey guys,
Sorry if this question can be answered easily, but im seriously struggling. I recently bought a padkontrol. Its amazing but for the life of me i cant get drum kits on it. With the pk i got heaps of bundled software including drumkit from hell superior lite package. I just dont know how to access the sounds. I transferred the scene to my padkontrol but if i open up something like reason adapted for korg, i cant get the right sounds out of it. I am using ableton to record and the plugins arent able to access it either. Is there something im missing or doing wrong? Sorry if this is a stupid question, only just getting into music production. Been mixing for the past 2 yrs... time to try something new.... :S if anyone has a link to a forum or a faq page where they can teach me lots about the padkontrol that would be excellent. Thanks very much!!
Any help would be much appreciated!! thanks!!

I'm being a stickler here, but your wording of this line illustrates part of the problem. This PadKontrol is simply a MIDI controller. You hit a button, MIDI goes out and does something. So you really can't get drum sounds ON this controller because this controller has no sound at all (if I'm understanding the product correctly).

This controller simply outputs MIDI data to a synth or drum sampler of choice.

I've never used the PadKontroller, but in almost all of these cases, the problem is routing.

As to your problem with patches, I have no idea.

Good luck.

i had this unit for a while, wasnt for me, and the dfh lite was pretty lame. but it worked. i dont know how ableton works, but dfh is just a vst plugin. it takes the midi signals from the padkontrol and triggers the sounds. in cubase, on a midi track, you just select the input as the padkontrol, and the output as dfh drummer.
