 Akai xr20 midi?
I have an akai xr20 drum sequencer and an audiobox usb recording system. I am trying to get my beats from the xr20 to my mac using garageband. Im not exactly sure what i need to get it going. I currently have the midi out from the xr20 and midi in to the audiobox but i cant seem to figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I don't know the Akai, but usually transmit is active and usually the DAW receives on all channels. You also have to make sure the DAW track is MIDI initialized and not a audio track.
