Default Unusual case for an odd drum

Hi, I have a 20 (deep) x 22" (head) bass drum. I'm having trouble finding a case for it. Most cases are for the standard 11x22. Do any of you guys know who makes a case that'll fit my drum?? Thanks

I've never seen a bass drum like that. Do they really make bass drums that are only 11" deep?

I'm not sure about the cases. I'm recording a buddy with a DW tonight. He'll know where to get cases.

Hi Brandon, that was a typo! Sorry, I meant, the standard size is 22 x 18" 18 being the depth.!! Hahaha. My drum, is 22" x 20", 20 being the depth. It's a size that's starting to get popularity. After doing the research I found that many companies are starting to do those cases. I ended up buying a soft bag for it. The SKB case is worth more than the drum!!

Oh, but yes, I've seen drums that are 11" or so deep. But they are rare, compact, specialty, portable, kits.

I'm saving up for a pro kit - Tama Starclassic or DW. When I get that I'll definitely go with hard cases. Later. -Danny

I see one here if you are looking for a fiber case...
Buy Nomad Multifit Fiber Bass Drum Case online at Musician's Friend
Hard shell... lots of cash though... $239.00
Buy SKB Roto-X Bass Drum Case online at Musician's Friend

Oh good. I was starting to think I was a real idiot! (Too late!) I really wandered if the hundreds of kick drums I've recorded were only 11" deep!

When I bought my new kit at Guitar Center I made the guy throw in free set of hardcases. Because if I bought it that day he could have won himself a free drumkit for the store or something like that. They retail for $300 as a set. Road Runner Molded 4-Piece Drum Case Set and more Drums and Percussion at GuitarCenter.com.
I have a 22x20 kick as well, and surprisingly it fits in this case which I just found out is 22x18 by looking at the website haha. I prefer hardcases for the finish of my drums over the nylon cases.
