Dude you stole that kit. I was watching that auction and my compulsive side wanted to buy it but I already have an 8pc RMV kit and a Ddrum pocket kit so I held back. I would not say that RMV would be considered "high end" but you are going to be blown away with the sound of these shells and just the fact that RMV doesn't sell in the US anymore makes this a collector kit in my opinion. I honestly put them right up there with Starclassics and Renown maples .. if not better than. They have a punchy attack like no other I have ever heard in my 12+ years of drumming. Enjoy those RMV's. Here are a couple pics of my kits. Thats right 20" gong tom baby. Home built from a bass drum shell that was damaged on one end that I picked up for $40 on Ebay. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
