The evans hd dry on the snare, and g2 coated on the toms is all you would ever need. I just played on an EP and the RE said they were the best toms he had ever heard.

Evan's EC2 Clear- toms Aquarian Super Kick II- bassdrum(s) Snare- your favorite coated As far a Remo pinstripes- great head back in the day but today there are better options IMO. |

Not personally a drummer myself, but, I'd recommend the Evans on snare and toms. Aquarian on kick. We are able to make the studio kit sound pretty damn spiffy with those heads. Like, spiffy as you'd want. Like, so spiffy that spiffy isn't even close. Like, super spiffy an' stuff....
