It might not be accurate

I don't think anyone looks for accuracy in a kick drum mic. I can't recall one that wasn't voiced to bring out the upper mids and low end. Although some do this to much more extreme levels than others. You can see that here Audix D6 Kick Drum Microphone Review | Home Computer Recording
