Default Just an Introdution

This is my first my first post so Id like to introduce myself.

I am a drummer of 30 years. I have been playing since the age of 5. I have played a myriad of styles and gigs. I have all of my own equipment including mikes, board, pa, etc.

I am failry new to digital recording. I have been doing it about four years now. I would like to share with you guys some of the stuff I have been working on.

I have also taught drums in music stores as well as personal instruction.

I have a custom made maple kit with sabian cymbals.

My dream would be to be able to lay tracks for people looking for an "in the pocket" groove oriented "feel good" player.

Any ways that is just a short synopsis. I look so forward to learning as much as I can from oall of your experiences both in the studio and out. Both the means and the methods of this crazy business.

I have already said way too much. But would that others could use this thread to introduce yourselves to me as well.

Welcome to the forums. If you've got the analog stuff down, then digital recording should be pretty easy. Check out the getting started guides and the soundcard wizard to get your feet wet in the digital world. Feel free to post any questions, there are lots of knowledgeable people here that are willing to help you.
