This is for the touring drummers out there? Well, for anyone who can help. I'd like to get a drum riser for a live band. Of course the manufactured risers are expensive...at least a grand for a basic riser. Does anyone have any good ideas for an inexpensive, portable (i.e., doesn't take long to set up/tear down and doesn't take up alot of space in the band trailer) riser for drums? I've heard of the plywood on top of spaced plastic paint buckets (the empty Lowe's buckets). I've also heard of using the dunnage, which seems like a good option, especially if I can find some used dunnage racks from a restaurant.
