Exclamation Drum software advice

Hi,

I have been using a boss BR 900 cd for the past couple of years to record songs but have recently moved to computer recording with Pro tools. I am having trouble finding a drum application like the boss br 900's built in rhythm machine which allows you to put drum patterns together and edit the tempo of each pattern. Does anyone know of any drum application's that will allow me to this? I have both ezdrummer and bfd but with them i cannot edit the tempo of drum patterns.

I don't know about drum applications, but I know that sequencers/synthesizers like Reason allow you to do that.

The consensus I keep hearing from Pro Tools user is the sequencer sucks in Pro Tools so you generally want a standalone application with a built in sequencer. Reason is extremely popular for this. I've heard good things about Digidesign Strike. Normally I recommend Superior Drummer 2.0, BFD2, Addictive Drums, or the Steven Slate Drum Samples but I'm not sure how/if any of those work with Pro Tools.
