Default Drum Sequencing

I am a solo artist writing metal music, and I am a guitar player. So as you can imagine, my recordings are pretty dull with no drums in the background. Any advice on what software to use and how to program fairly realistic sounding drums?

I use EZ Drummer from toontrack.com I have found the sound and the ease of use to be straight forward and simple to intergrate into your software (Most) But it is a bit spendy from the site.

There are allot of ebay sellers that are autherized to sell this and they do so for a bit less than any place else I could find it.

But makes sure that you do buy a new copy from an authorized seller or you will not be able to use it due to EUA.

I use it in Logic Pro on the Mac side and Sony Vegas and Sonar on the PC side.

It is a VST+ Plugin with a great user interface and you have complete controll over the midi side of it also.

Hope this helps a bit.
