Default Best ride cymbal

I am looking for a new ride cymbal for my studio kit.I have a Zildjian A custom 20" medium ride now.It has a lot of wash to it so I was looking for something a little more pronounced with a nice stick attack sound and less cymbal wash.Any suggestions?

this may not be exactly what you looking for but i just got a k custom 21'' hybrid ride and that thing is sweet. it has some nice undertones depending on where you strike it but it still has good stick definition.. not like a ping ride or anything but still. the thing i like is the 2 zones where the inner half in really hand hammered pretty good and its unlathed.. so you get better stick definition there and a little more undertones towards the edge. its basically 2 rides in 1

I have a 21" Paiste Signature Dry Dark Ride that is SWEET!!! Pings if you want it to ping and washes if needed. Very controlable and very nice bell. And definitely different then what you already have!!

Let us know what you get.

Do I hear a mini-ride cymbal shootout approaching?

I have an Amedia Vintage 21" Ride, I'm pretty sure you won't have heard of it, but I love it It's entirely handmade, sounds great and is half the price of Zildjian, Sabian etc.

Can't go wrong with the Zildjian K Ride, I really like the 22", but the 20" is also great.

Lovely strong bell, great stick definition, and an explosive crash/wash if and when needed.

The plus for this ride is that it records really well, you'll instantly here the difference between a 20" K Ride and your A custom.
