FOR SALE: DR. Z AIRBRAKE (ATTENUATOR)
Dr. Z Airbrake Attenuator.? These are SUPER transparent and they work with ANY ohm load on amps 100 watts or less.?

Hey dude,
I was just wondering how that Dr. Z attenuator sounded. My hotplate does fine, but it's limited to 8 ohms and this can create problems because my Marshall cabinet is 16 ohms. Brandon

Brandon,
It seems VERY transparent. It has 4 useable attenuation settings and a 'bedroom' setting, which is extremely quiet and not that transparent (more of an extreme setting I suppose for apartment practice type things). I know they've done very well in the shootouts with the hotplates and the Weber Mass's. If I hadn't started the auction, I'd let you borrow it and flog the hell out of it to see how you think it compares. -Matt
