I am writing a demo pop/rock song that I hope to pitch.

I was wondering if anyone with Vienna could offer their services for some string parts? Is this legal? If so, how much would you charge?

I don't have Vienna (not sure why you have such a preference, though I can guess), but yes, its legal.

a, you're probably looking in the wrong place (VI Control might work if VSL's forum doesn't).
b, you need to give more information on your project.
