i'm pleased to say we have already hit the 50% discount and we are now over 1000 points! :d this has been hugely more popular than i had expected. I'm almost embarassed about how inaccurately i predicted the demand ops: I'm afraid it will take a few days for us to be ready to accept orders through the group buy, as we need to set that up and we are looking into finding someone extra to assist with responding to emails, due to the massive volume. I'd be really grateful in your patience during the next week or two as we are extremely busy - we will hopefully get enough help to ensure that we can keep our usual high standards of support - but if you have to wait a little longer for a response than usual, its not because we don't care about you, its simply that we're overwhelmed. In answer to those asking for further bonuses, i'm afraid we are not prepared to reduce the price further. A 50% discount is already a huge discount, and i think going further would send out the wrong signals about the value of our products. On the plus side, i am adding an extra incentive at 2500 points - which is a 50% discount coupon code applicable on to our upcoming soundbanks. Once again, this is something that we will give to all alchemy users - not just those who signup in the group buy. We've got several banks coming out in the next couple of months from several of your favourite sound designers (as determined by the feedback we had in our survey ). (there's also the 40mins of tutorial videos bonus coming up at 1500 points, in case you missed that).

very perceptive :d server load could potentially be a problem, despite the fact we have two servers to try and help spread the load. One of the things we are working on over the next couple of days is trying to ensure we can deliver reasonable download rates.

there is male and female choir in the factory set singing ahh. We've also hit one of the group buy bonuses which includes several 100mb of samples of a choir singing oohs, ahhs, mmms, etc. As to whether the existing stuff is good or not, i'm a bit biased so perhaps some other people will care to give their comments on what the vocal presets are like.

it will take us a little while to prepare the bonuses, but you should certainly have them by christmas - and we're working hard to deliver them as soon as we can.
