Ventures and Bogle influenced countless bands with guitar sound

Hits included "Walk -- Don't Run," "Hawaii Five-O"

Died from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

The Ventures recorded the TV show theme "Hawaii Five-O" went into the Top Ten in 1969.


The Ventures were voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
