Recording Review Project Idea

OK this is not a new concept to internet forums...but I will spit it out here so everyone can chewy on it.

Lets say that we started a couple tracks that several people on the forum would contribute to.
We would pass them around with tracks recorded as individual Wavs, as most DAW could open them and multi-track.

Example time: (insert name of your favorite forum members)

Fred starts with a 120 bpm click track and a drum groove, he then sends the Wavs to Leroy via the web.....
Leroy adds a bass line and sends the Wavs on to Homer........
Homer calls his guitar buddy and the buddy lays down a hot guitar part while Homer adds kazoo and then it gos to John...
John throws down a hot little hook with a B-3.......
Then it gos to Brandon and he mixes it.....
You get the idea.....

Something like thing could be fun......might be cool for Brandons CD idea he was talking about.......thoughts??

That would be really really fun. I don't have very good means of recording though. I just plug my guitar straight into my soundcard's mic input with a 1/4" to 1/8" converter. It's not great quality.

I love the idea. I'm in for mixing it. That would be fun.

As for quality....hmm. What do you guys think? These tracks could end up so anally raped that it wouldn't matter, but it may.

Hey, I could do vocals or guitar or harmonica or kazoo or something else! Just give me something to work with. What kind of music would this be? I've got some good lyrics if you want them...
