I will try this just to see what the MIDI timing is about ; "hardware MIDI timing calibration".

I can't seem to find this MIDI feature in the manual or the drop-downs; "Per-device timing calibration and fine-tuning ". It could be it's part of some automatic function ??

Ha !! I spent a hour point five downloading the manual specifically to decipher the claim from their own MIDI page. "Per-device timing calibration and fine-tuning ". Plus two hours farting around looking for it.

Never-the-less, recording MIDI and Audio from my keyboard on the same interface sounds pretty good. It couldn't default to my system MIDI device (TiMIDIty) and I had to select out for each track.

I got a blue screen of death when Reaper choked importing a second mid file right off the start. It froze opening the import to separate tracks dialog - it couldn't display the text. They were difficult files in that individual tracks change instruments quite often.

I got no replies 'til I left a disparaging remark : ) Got a link to a good thread and it looks promising. I will hook-up a external sequencer and record audio and MIDI for an hour and see how it functions.

Is the MIDI implementation any good yet?

Can you draw a line for increasing velocity on a snare drum roll for example?
