Default Looking For a Smooth Jazz Song

Smiley
Hi there, all you fellow Music Members.
I'm a big big fan of smooth jazz. It's definitely a nice way to relax after a hard day at school! Smooth Jazz always puts a smile on my face when I'm feeling
sad. There's this smooth jazz song that I've been looking for, for what seems like a couple of years now, but I still don't know where to turn. The problem
is, I don't know the title of the song, nor do I know the name of the artist or music group who recorded it. All I know is, the song is entirely instrumental,
featuring a Roland CR78 Drum machine as the beat, either a synth or an electric bass, a synthesized version of a French Horn, possibly taken from either
a Moog or an Oberheim synthesizer as the main instrument that plays the melody, and some other keyboards in the background. It's a techno beat, and it's
mostly in the key of G-minor. And it is also featured in a romantic comedy that was released between 2001 and 2005, around the same time the song was released.
The song is featured in part of the beginning of the movie where there's spoken dialogue between the two main characters, which are two lovers. The song
is then featured again at the end, this time, in its entirety, as the credits are rolling. I know my Grandmother was watching this movie, because I was
at her house when it actually came on, and she was taping it. This is when she was living near Valley River Center in Eugene, Oregon. She now lives in
Cottage Grove. I asked her what the song was, but sad to say, she said she didn't know what it was. I know I heard it on the smooth jazz station that we
used to have here in Eugene, 95.3 KUJZ. However, that particular station isn't here any longer, as it's been taken over, to my dismay, by a country music
station! In the attachment I'm sending you, I will demonstrate the rhythm on the drum machine. I even tried to demonstrate some of the melody, but I can't
fully remember how it goes. I've actually played what I can remember of the melody. I know for sure how the bassline went, but the melody I'm only guessing
how it went.
