Hi folks,
I hope this is not out of line here. Please point me to a more appropriate forum if there is one.
Project-43 is looking to add a new dimension to our music. Over the past four years or so, we've covered the bass parts in our songs between guitar players. And yes, we know what kind of bass players guitarists make. Hence our search for a true bassist.
A bit of quick history for those not familiar. As is the case with most of today's collaborative online efforts, we're all separated in different locations. We record our parts separately and then funnel those parts back to one location where they are mixed/mastered. Song writing is encouraged and desired from every member.
We do what we do, in an effort to keep our skills fresh and to keep those creative desires fulfilled. We're not looking to 'make it big' or make a million dollars (though I bet we wouldn't complain should that ever happen). Obviously, being separated as we are pretty much precludes gigging. This is a project for the enjoyment of music and the fun of working with talented musicians. We've authored close to fifty original songs to date. For more in-depth info, see our site here:

Briefly... We're looking for an accomplished bassist who enjoys rock, hard rock and metal music. The perfect candidate will be able to quickly author and generate bass tracks to original compositions from fellow Project-43 members. He/she will have their own recording equipment and be able to upload their finished parts in wav format (in compressed Rar files) to our existing FTP site.
