Default Looking For an Audio Recording - Kenny G's Longest Note

Hi there, All you fellow Music Members.
I was wondering, do you know where I could find a video clip, or an audio recording of some sort, of the event where Kenny G broke a world record by holding the longest sustained musical note on a wind instrument? I'd like to hear the full version of when he held that E-flat note on his saxophone, correct me if I'm wrong, but when he made that long note, was it his tenor sax? Or was it his soprano sax? Anyway, from what I've read, he held that note for an amazing 45 minutes and 47 seconds. A note that long? I could've sworn he would pass out! I haven't had the chance to hear the full event in its entirety, as the following video that I found only has part of that event.

I can't imagine it's anywhere on video. I can't imagine anyone wanting to sit through 45 minutes of the same note.

The technique is known as circular breathing. Lots of wind players can do it (though I have to admit that even though I've tried many times, I can't get the hang of it).

Didgeridoo players know all about circular breathing because its key to their technique.

I've heard of circular breathing. My music teacher and friend, Markus Johnson, plays the didgeridoo. You probably don't know this, but I'm one who can sit and listen to even just one note for 45 minutes. As long as it's not an opera singer!

I think this whole 45 minute note thing is a complete lie. Why? I don't doubt Kenny G's ability to do this. I just doubt that there is a human being alive that wouldn't hurl themselves out of a skyscraper window if they had to sit through 45 minutes of the same note.

I'm pretty sure this is some kind of prisoner of war torture technique.

This is no lie! If you check the Guinness Book Of World Records from 1997, you'll see that it's there. I wonder if Kenny was auditioning for the new dial tone. I heard that part on "I Love The Nineties: 1997". I can't remember if it was on part 1 or part 2, but some guy said that perhaps Kenny G's long 45-minute note was an audition for the new dial tone. Also, can you explain what you mean when you say, "Prisoner Of Torture"?

I want to know the person who witnessed it. Than I want to know how many suicide attempts they've made since then.

Now tell me, who in their right mind would commit suicide when listening to just one long 45-minute note? Also, back to my original question, when Kenny made that long note, was it his Tenor Sax? Or was it his Soprano Sax?
