Default How to Record the Space Shuttle Launch

I stumbled upon this and thought it was interesting enough to share.

A Sennheiser MKH418 Shotgun Condenser was used to capture a stereo recording of the launch..... at 150 dB.

Content Creation and Distribution - Fast News and Updates - How To Record The Space Shuttle - 150db at*400ft.

I thought anyone who has been or is interested in recording sounds and sound effects might find it interesting or useful.

That's pretty cool. I've used those mics a few times for some sound design work. I had no idea they were THAT good though. I may just have to get myself a pair.
