My wife and I have a bit of a jam at home and I have been setting up a basic setup but my problem is I have no idea what I'm doing.
What my main aim is is to have a jam with a basic setup that sound relatively good.
I'm sure my setup I started with is not right but maybe I can be pointed in the right direction. My current configeration is as follows-
Semi-acoustic guitar-Korg AX10A effects
Behringer 1204fx mixer
Behringer XM1800S Microphones
Roland Cube Street Amp
The Roland Amp sounds not very good with this setup( I bought it to go jam at friends places) so I was looking at getting a amp and speakers or PA speakers. If so what is a good budget amp and speakers for my type of setup.
The only reason I bought the mixer is so I could plug 2 mic's and guitar together and adjust volumes individually when playing and plug into P.C via Behringer UCA200 USB.
I do some recording on my P.C with Audacity through the mixer but it is really quiet. Is that because the mixer is not amped?
Please let me know your ideas if I am going in the right direction or no where near and is getting a amp and speakers going to give me a nice basic setup
Thanks...Mark
