Hey, just wondering, how many people here are on Garageband.com? It's a great resource, and I would reccomend that everyone get on it. Hell, it's headed by Sir George Martin, how much better can you get?

Anyway, check it out. It is muy muy bueno (I don't speak spanish)

Since I'm sure most electronic musicians associate garageband with a certain Mac application, it might be helpful to note that this is nothing to do with that application. I almost didn't even go there because I assumed that's what is was.

Yeah me too. I just glance me first visit but it seems worth spending a bit more time on it. Kinda like soundclick but with more options and publicity(?)

Yeah, Garageband is great. Youcan get honest, unbiased reviews, and also get noticed. It's a good resource. You should sing up.

My band was on garageband.com back in '99. They've been around a while, but had a great idea.

It sucks that the Mac software also used the name a year or so ago.

Yeah. I actually use both (I record with Garageband), but I think Apple could have come up with a better name...

And avoided all the legal fees.

Though I don't care to do 30 reviews of mostly crappy songs to upload just one song, but yet I continue to do it time and time again, HA. I love the site though. We do fairly well on it I guess. Our song Exorcism will be featured as Alternative Track of the Day on Dec. 16th, so that's cool.

I just recently uploaded my song "Now I Understand" at Garageband.com (after doing 30 reviews). I have gotten really good responses so far! My track is going to be featured as Power Pop song of the day on Saturday (the 17th). It jumped from #71 on the chart to #24 in just 2 days. I can't wait to get some more songs up on there. It is nice to get some actual useful feedback.

I like garageband also, used to do reviews on it, but never did enough to upload a song. I think it is a good resource for feedback by musicians, but musicians are not really always the ones you want to please with your music...................
