My friend Hassan works too hard. He finished university here about a year ago and got himself a job on the Islam Channel in London. He works to make documentaries and news resports and even does them in his spare time. You can get the channel via satellite tv and it broadcasts internationally so give it a watch if you can find it. Unfortunately I've never seen it!

Interesting. I'll add this to my "to watch" list when I finish my 25 part WW2 documentary series.

I'm big on BBC documentaries. They are usually less shitty than American documentaries for whatever reason.

I think that BBC documentaries are better because they're not made to fill out a 30 minute or 1 hour time slot. I can't believe how much filler and repeated content there is on North American television programmes.

I never really noticed the filler or non-filler aspects of the documentaries. I'll pay more attention in the future.

I can't figure out if there really is more "substance" and less sensationalist hype in the BBC or if I'm just retarded enough to be enamored by the accent.

Based on my WW2 documentaries I've been hitting hard recently, I'd have to say that there is more substance.
