Can anyone recomend a hand held MP3 player which has a record function suitable for making rough and ready rehearsal recordings. Something that I can just put on a shelf press record and then forget about. I find this kind or recording really useful for reviewing rehearsals. I am currently using an ancient portable cassette played. A mic socket would be useful as would a built in speaker. Any ideas guys? Regards Wavey |

Well, I use the Micromemo from XtremeMac, which plugs directly into my iPod and records and saves to it. Then, when iplug in my iPod to my computer, it asks me whether I want to take the recordings off and make them into mp3s and put them in my library. It's pretty useful, since it keeps everything in one place (on your iPod). -Tyler

I recommend Sony MZ-NF610 High Speed Net MD Walkman Recorder. It stores five hours of music on an 80-minute minidisc, use the built-in USB connection for fast recording time.
