Cape Girardeau, MO - Brandon Stars In News Segment On Local CBS Affiliate

Our very own recording guru and webmaster Brandon Drury was a TV star tonight as KFVS our local CBS affiliate did a story on recording and local musicians working on the big time. The story followed several local bands (which Brandon has worked with) as they get ready to step over the line to from local to worldwide. Brandon's Echo Echo Studio got a nice plug and background shots as he spoke about what it takes to capture a band right (like micing drums). Good Job Brandon!!!!

Hey Snoopy, maybe you should move onto the CBS world reporting gig. You seam to have a knack for this sort of thing. Besides, Dan Rather sucks! (actually, I really don't have an opinion of Dan Rather)

I'm glad it went over well. I could have watched it, but chickened out. I had this theory that it would be like in Back To The Future 2 when Michael J. Fox sees his older self. I was afraid of the whole destruction of the space / time continuum.

I'm glad I didn't look like a total raging dick face. I certainly felt like one while giving the interview. I can totally see why people look so stupid on TV...they are. And so am I!!!

I thought this was my worst nightmare coming true. I was watching the last part of the Grammies and kinda nodded off. Anyways about 20 minutes later I wake up and (insert cheesey B-horror movie music here) DRURY IS ON MY TV! For a fleeting moment I thought the Grammies had sunk to a new all-time low!

Really Brandon, you looked marvelous and sounded professional. Thanks for combing your hair and putting on a clean shirt. It was a nice little segment. The locals were represented well!

The funny thing is I'm still wearing the same clothes that I did the interview in. Its' been 2.5 days ha ha ah ah ha hah .

Yes I clicked the little red camera. The media player opened up and I could hear the audio but I didn't see any video. This isn't the first time it has happened. When I try to watch the trailer for upcoming movie Ultraviolet, I get the same result.

Oh great! I was way more comfortable talking about this when the deed was done never to be viewed again.
